Veneer Competence

For over 90 years, we have been “passionate about wood”. This passion is evident above all in the special wood competence that we have developed together with our workforce over three generations. One special division is the manufacture of elegant veneer patterns. Beautiful, continuous grain patterns across several front elements create the unique appearance of the furniture. Skilled craftsmanship and precision are also required when veneers are book-matched. The results are impressive mirror images: every one a one-off from nature’s treasure chest.Sensuous and expressive: real wood veneers. Thanks to our particular veneer competence, we are able to produce wonderful designs on our furniture.

This is a hallway unit system for universal use, and has been consistently further developed since 1977. Customise your entrance area and hall furnishings – from a mini hallway unit to room-height interiors. Even narrow niches can be turned into valuable storage space with PANAMA.

Customised furniture
Furnishing an entrance area is often difficult because the room layout places firm restrictions on your personal desires. However, almost anything is possible with our PANAMA hallway unit system: A tremendous variety of elements in 7 widths and 10 heights (with and without plinth) for optimum utilisation of the available space. Panels are also available in the size of your choice to allow for any width.

The elements are all cleanly mitred – for “seamless” extending and stacking. As the fronts are flush fit, the carcass edges and half-round edges are visible – a detail that we have borrowed from carpentry.

Real wood
Like the outer surfaces, all the visible surfaces on the inside – including the back panels – are veneered in real wood. Visible solid wood edges are made in a real wood that matches the front veneer harmoniously. The drawers are all made of real wood, and have strong, multi-layer bonded frames.

Practical functions
Lines of drill holes inside the cupboards mean that shelves can be placed wherever required. Drawers are fully-extending, and fitted with concealed tracks and cushioned self-closing. All flaps also have cushioned closure. A cushioning system softly catches the flap as it closes so there is no risk of trapped fingers.
